- Their Story
Sarah Ashworth’s passion for dogs led her to study with the IMDT and the School of Canine Science. During a holiday in the USA, she discovered dog parks—community hubs that enrich the lives of dogs and their owners. Inspired, Sarah brought this concept to Merseyside.
In 2017, after careful research, Sarah opened the region’s first dog park. What started as a simple idea has grown into something special, transforming the lives of countless dogs and their owners.
Dogs Go are proud to be Wirral’s Best Pet Business 2024. They’ve been described as ‘disruptive’ and they wear that badge with pride!
From being the first in the UK to open dog parks nine years ago, to hosting unforgettable dog birthday parties and breed meet-ups, they are always ahead of the pack! Today, hundreds of dogs regularly enjoy the benefits of Bark Parks, making Dogs Go a beloved part of the community.
Their community is friendly, welcoming, and always ready to try new things. Experience the joy at Dogs Go.
We promise, your dog will love it.

They have two IMDT fully qualified Dog Trainers running fun, impactful classes where you will learn the very best methods to train your dog. Where possible, they teach via games!
You will learn 5-6 new skills per class – they cover recall, eye contact, impulse control, loose lead walking, stay and wait, down, place, leave it and so much more.
You also get Zoom support during your time with us, two Socialisation sessions, discounted training for your dog’s life and they have a graduation party.
This time won’t come again. Investing in puppy training is one of the best decisions you can make for your future.

Safety and Security
Their fields are designed with dogs in mind. From their airlock system of entry, to safety testing their water and plants, they ensure they do their all to keep our dogs safe.
Private fields also mean we can easily manage the dogs yours interact with. No rude or out of control dogs to interfere with playtime for us! Just carefully tailored, well socialised packs for everyone’s enjoyment.
Why We Choose Dogs Go
Variety of Fields
With nine fields across three sites, there is always something new for the dogs to see and sniff! There’s water, agility equipment, open spaces, grass mazes and so much fun to be had.
There is no such thing as a ‘repetitive’ or ‘boring’ walk at Dogs Go. Variety is the spice of life and they understand that. We can do scent games and zoomies in all the different environments they have lovingly created.
Tailored Walks
Do you have a dog that’s more duck than dog? Or are they a land mammal, thank you very much? Are they secretly part monkey and like to climb on everything, or do they think they’re a cheetah?
By utilising the right field, we tailor the environment to your dog. So whether your dog needs more lake than land, or more open plains than Africa, we can give them the best space to express themselves.
