The adventure begins…
Born from a lifelong love of dogs and the wild beauty of the Wirral; The FurryTail Guild began as a family dream, a simple belief that every dog deserves and adventure worthy of legend.
We are not a franchise nor a faceless corporate service. We are a family who walks alongside your companions as if they were a part of our own pack, rain or shine.
Our walks make use of secure private fields or the Wirral’s finest nature trails. We endeavour to tailor our walks to your dogs own personality, giving your furry companion the freedom to play safely, whether or not they are selectively deaf!
Fully insured, DBS checked and trained in pet first aid - we bring professional care with a deeply personal touch. Because when you entrust your companion to us, you’re not hiring a service, you’re joining a community of Guild members and becoming part of our pack.

Naomi
Naomi originally started the FurryTail Guild back in 2019. She originally intended to follow a career in Veterinary Medicine, but after working as a Vet Assistant for a few years and gaining her degree in BioVeterinary Science, she realised her love was in building a relationship with the animals she works with. Which led her to pick up a job as a Dog Walker!
She has owned multiple species of animals - cats, dogs, horses, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, and even exotics such as geckos and sugar gliders. She’s also been involved in the care of chickens, ducks, and took a university course that included sheep flipping and pig handling.
Her favourite breed of dog is anything with the word Spaniel in the title and her main passion is proving to her son (who was born in 2025) that you should always pursue what you love over the “safe” choice.
A fun fact is that she once mentioned she liked raccoons to someone and now owns a plethora of raccoon memorabilia, including a raccoon onesie.

SQUIRREL!!!!
Jaymes has always been around animals from a very young age, particularly growing up with enough animals to start an urban farm. He has shared his home with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, ducks, hamsters, rabbits and budgies to name a few!
He grew up originally either wanting to work with animals, training them for film and TV, or become a product designer. Life took a different direction and he ended up working in a variety of different careers but that childhood dream of working with animals never went away. He is very privileged to be able to work with his incredible fiance by becoming the newest member of the FurryTail Guild (but you might have spotted some guest appearances as Honorary Pooper Scooper over the years).
His favourite breed of dogs is a good ol’ Heinz 57 (a ragtag like himself) and, like Naomi, wants to teach their son that family and doing what makes you happy is the most important thing in life.
A fun fact? As a toddler, he was adopted by his godparents German Shepherd Dog who used to curl up with him in her basket, which probably accounts for his affinity to animals.
